Breaking: Senator John Mbata House put up for sale
Senator John Azuta Mbata House built by the Wike administration.
Governor Nyesom Wike has asked companies, including banks that are operating in the State, to bid for the purchase of a newly reconstructed seven-storey-building named after Senator John Azuta Mbata.
Wike who was speaking Monday at the commissioning of the project located along Port Harcourt-Aba Expressway explained that government, which recovered the place from destitutes and hoodlums, would prefer the outright sale of the seven-storey structure to the organized private sector.

The Governor said the government’s preference for an outright sale of the property was borne out of the fact that the civil service system would be unable to manage the edifice profitably.
Wike disclosed that if government disposes the property, the proceeds would be invested in the provision of infrastructure for the benefit of the people.
