Signs that APC members in Rivers State may have put the past behind them in order to move the party forward are gradually emerging.

But they may still have to work hard on the new bridge building effort, if they are to firmly cement the bonds which are expected to hold the APC family in Rivers together.

Supporters of the Minister of Transportation,  Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and loyalists of Senator Magnus Abe have been seen at  the official commissioning ceremony of the new party secretariat along Woji Road in GRA.

Our Correspondent who is at the venue reports that prominent members of the Abe faction were seen sitting side by side with their friends who are followers of the former Governor of Rivers State.

Both Amaechi and Abe were however absent, but observers who are watching events unfold say the atmosphere at the venue of the commissioning has been quite cordial.

Senator Andrew Uchendu and Senator Wilson Ake were seen together while Golden Ben Chioma and Hon Sokonte Davies who sat close to each other were spotted exchanging friendly banter .

The Telegraph would be bringing more insights to its readers. Details loading…
