Tinubu: Electoral revolution imminent
By the PHC Telegraph
Presidential flagbearer of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is campaigning astutely as the clock gradually winds down and Nigerians prepare to vote says the outcome of the 2023 general elections will usher in an electoral revolution.
Tinubu who was in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Wednesday to canvas for votes is up against Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, Peter Obi of Labour Party and Rabi’u Kwankwaso of the NNPP.
Addressing a well attended rally in the Ogun State capital, the Jagaban said Nigerians have strong reasons to be hopeful, saying his blueprint for the masses would stimulate economic growth, boost education and health and grow a digital market.
The APC candidate said that as part of his educational programme, no Nigerian youth would drop out of school because his parents have no money.
He said under his watch, Nigerian students would have access to educational loans to pay their way through school.
Tinubu also promised that wildcat strikes involving academic staff of universities which alter the academic calendar and force students to spend more time in school would be a thing of the past.
The APC presidential flagbearer assured the teeming crowd that despite obstacles that are being placed deliberately on the way, he would win convincingly.
The former Governor of Lagos State made specific reference to the escalating cost of petroleum products and the disaffection created among the people by the reprint of the naira, saying these man-made obstacles would not deter him.
Many observers say the large crowd that turned out when Tinubu visited Abeokuta indicates that Obasanjo’s call for Nigerians to support Peter Obi are not being heeded in his own backyard.
