Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the APC who was recently embroiled in conflict says he has received the forgiveness of his fellow party men.
Oshiomhole who addressed the press said Monday that his party was ready to move on as an indivisible and united whole.
The former Governor of Edo State who was surrounded by smiling party officials looked happy and relaxed as he faced the press.
Oshiomhole remarked that he has also forgiven all those who may have moved against him.
For weeks, the Oshiomhole-must-go campaign gathered momentum across the country as the progressive wing of the party which accused him of several ills insisted on his removal as chairman.
Last Wednesday, Oshiomhole who survived, following the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari appealed for forgiveness.
He said that he appreciated the fact that he may have offended some members of the party.
“My party has forgiven me”, a confident Oshiomhole told reporters while fielding questions.
He said the party had decided to put recent differences behind it, saying the APC was poised more than ever before to face the future with courage, commitment and determination as a united and progressive family.
