… Defends General Sani Abacha over alleged treasury looting
Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, Presidential Candidate of AA, a fringe political party, says he will halt insurgency in six months if he is elected Nigeria’s President.
Al-Mustapha who appeared Friday night on Politics Today broadcast on Channels Television pledged that as President he will personally relocate to Sambisa Forest to lead the offensive against agents of destabilisation.
He slammed the authorities for doing nothing to raise morale among federal troops and accused Nigeria’s leaders of snoring in bed while ill-equipped soldiers die by the day on the battlefield.
The former Chief Security Officer defended General Sani Abacha who has been demonized for looting the nation’s treasury, claiming that there is no evidence that the so-called Abacha was placed by him in those bank vaults.
According to him, allegations of theft have been sustained by a powerful cabal with international connections in control of a vicious propaganda machine who hated Abacha because of some of the positive steps he took to salvage Nigeria.

Al-Mustapha recalled the harrowing experience he had to go through while in detention, saying he is alive as a result of God’s intervention.
The presidential candidate observed that public institutions have been grossly mismanaged, adding, this is why they are unable to produce results despite funds injected into the system.
