By PHC Telegraph

Reports say Nyesom Wike who is seen in some circles as the Rivers strongman has been rushed out of the country, following what is seen at this time as a medical problem that is associated with the heart.
Wike who reportedly has his finger in every pie was rushed to the UK where doctors are working to deal with his medical condition.
Although details pertaining to his health are hazy, Wike is believed to be suffering from a serious heart condition which may require surgery.
According to what we are learning from credible sources who are quite close to the former governor of Rivers State, he might be suffering from congestive heart failure, a chronic condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood as well as it should.
Doctors say symptoms of the ailment include shortness of breath, fatigue, swollen legs and rapid heartbeat.
A bypass surgery is what doctors are purportedly recommending for Wike but it appears that he is seemingly turning down the option which may put him out of action for a while.
The treatment of such a heart condition may involve eating less salt, limiting fluid intake and depending on prescription medication.
Where treatment involves surgery, a defibrillator or pacemaker may be implanted, according to experts, to make the heart function efficiently.
