The PDP gubernatorial candidate in Rivers State,  Siminalayi Fubara says he would focus on manpower development in the next four years.

Fubara who spoke at a rally in Omuma Local Government area observed that so much has been achieved in the provision of  infrastructure under the able leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike.

He said developing a human resource base which will drive the wheel of progress, ensure the state a constant supply of manpower, sustain growth and economic prosperity in Omuma and other parts of the State would attract top priority if he is elected.

“You have almost everything”, Sim said in Omuma, “we saw evidence of dividends of democracy as we came.

According serious attention to manpower development in the years ahead would be key, he remarked.

Apparently satisfied that Omuma is deeply  ‘Sim-plified’, Fubara declared “Omuma is PDP; PDP is Omuma.”

Pillars of Sim’s blueprint: Unveiling his plan one by one

A cross sectional view of PDP supporters in Omuma listening to message of consolidation and continuity.

Many critical of the PDP governorship candidate  have claimed nobody has heard him talk. Others are saying he has no blueprint.

But as things are in Rivers, PDP members are not the only ones that are now looking forward to what Sim will say on a near daily basis.

Analysts say he has since the campaigns started put his voice out there in the public space and painstakingly focused on issues, refusing to engage in mudslinging like his opponents.

In so doing, Sim is managing  within a short period of his appearance on the scene to connect with more voters by providing great insight into his plans for Rivers people.

They include turning the Rivers State into a gas hub, strengthening the State’s existing security architecture, promoting educational excellence and engendering economic prosperity.

On Monday, in Omuma, Sim added the fifth. Our political correspondent who has been monitoring Sim’s utterances reports he has added human capital required in the future to catapult the Rivers State forward.

He urged those who are yet to pick up their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, to quickly do so in order to join the ranks of people who are preparing to make a huge statement on February 25 and March 11.
