Nigerians may not have heard the last of Peter Obi’s spirited quest in collaboration with his supporters to stop the eventual winner of the last national election from being sworn into office as the successor of President Muhammadu Buhari.
There are indications Obi is involved in all kinds of things, including unwarranted plots to cause public disaffection, create crisis, stimulate violent street protests and hoist an interim national government on the people of Nigeria.
Last week, an Obidient by the name Obiajulu Uja from Enugu State was bundled out a plane belonging to Ibom Air in Abuja.
Uja, obviously an Igbo, was quoted as menancingly threatening in the aircraft that Nigeria’s President-in-waiting, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would never be sworn in.
For almost one hour security agents at the airport struggled to evacuate the man who hails from Oji River from the plane.
Now, a lawyer is claiming that the man he sees as his client who bought a ticket, sat patiently at the departure lounge without making a fuss and boarded an aircraft when it was time to go is allegedly sick in the head.
The presidential forerunners- Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (PDP), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (APC), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso (NNPP) and Peter Obi (LP).
While Nigerians are coming to terms increasingly with the bile that is running deeply in the veins of most die-in-the-wool obidients, another controversy, suggesting Peter Obi may be stoking a religious war has broken out.
Obi is believed to have reached out to Bishop Oyedepo with a message designed to create serious differences between Muslims and Christians in the country.
While some Nigerians would rather want to think such a conspiracy between Oyedepo and Obi did not take place, others insist the leaked

audio tape which is in the public domain contains a true reflection of what transpired.
Kenneth Okonkwo, a close associate and top aide of Peter Obi has come out openly to affirm that the audio tape which has gone viral is not fake.
But, he admitted on his official twitter handle that there may have been an attempt to spin the content of the conversation out of context by persons he described as “political criminals”.
“Our attention has been drawn to the publication of this audio tape of private conversation between @PeterObi and Bishop Oyedepo. It is not surprising that these political criminals are trying to spin the conversation as if Obi was making a religious statement.
“Firstly, the context of the conversation was aptly put by Bishop Oyedepo when he said “All Nigerians have equal stake in this nation, nobody has the right to claim that he is dashing something to someone”.
“H E @PeterObi was simply urging the Bishop to help him push this message of equal stake of all Nigerians in the Nigerian project to his people and the christiandom because the politicians of the other party is (sic) carrying on this campaign as if it is a religious war.
“To drive home this point, he informed him that he visited the traditional ruler of Offa, the Olofa of Offa, who is a Muslim, but who advised Obi to get the support of Oyedepo and be assured of his own support.

“No Politician has ever visited the Olofa of Offa. It is clear to everybody that the APC political party that has a Presidential Candidate, Vice Presidential Candidate, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, National Chairman of the Party all from one religion at a time the CJN is a Muslim is the Party that has declared religious war on Nigerians and we must all rise up together to fight this unconstitutional act of religious intolerance of other religions by APC”, Okonkwo said on his verified twitter account.
“I went around with Obi on campaign train and never saw him discriminate against any religion. Of course he can’t <span;>because his Vice is a Muslim unlike APC.
“I resigned from APC because of their religious intolerance. Nigerians should disregard any insinuation of religious bigots about this tape”, he added.
There is growing pressure on Okonkwo to pull down the post. As at the time of this report, Okonkwo was yet to pull down the post which is elucidating a lot of public reaction.
