Poor leadership, management, bane of Nigeria’s rapid growth – Tinubu
● Says we have not come here to play politics with Nigeria’s future

President Bola Tinubu has identified poor leadership and management as the two major challenges that are standing in the way of the Nigeria’s march to greatness.
Tinubu who was speaking in India told his audience that the people of Nigeria are richly endowed with both human and material resources that have been under utilised.
“We have come to present to you”, the President said to the gathering, a nation that has all that is required to transform it into an economic powerhouse.
Tinubu observed that Nigeria deserves a leadership which has the capability of properly managing its resources, noting, “We have not come here to play politics.”
He said that Nigeria’s cultural diversity could be translated to strength and a huge advantage and urged the Nigerian people to come together to rebuild their country.
Tinubu who acknowledged that the future lies in the collaboration of the people said it is time to “mold the soul of our country in the right direction.”
The President who is in India to attend the meeting of the G20 has already met with reputable Indian businessmen and secured their commitment to invest in the country.
Tinubu assured that everything is being done to guarantee the ease of doing business in the country.
He also asserted that Indian investors who put their money in the Nigerian economy would enjoy the benefit having returns on their investments.
If all goes well, the Indians are prepared to inject not less than $14 billion in Nigeria’s economy.
Back home, Nigerians are hailing the President’s bid to attract foreign investors to the country, saying it represents a bold effort to reposition the economy, arrest hunger and tackle unemployment.
Dr Reuben Abati on the Morning Show broadcast by Arise News described Tinubu as Nigeria’s number one diplomat.
He said although the expression of interest in the Nigerian economy by the Indians is arousing public attention, what we have in our hands as Nigerians are mere pledges.
