Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State has come under intense fire from his counterpart in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
The latest attack is coming on the heels of growing hostility arising from sharp differences between both men who belong to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Dickson a few days ago described the reaction of the Rivers governor over his visit to the Kalabari kingdom as ridiculous, childlike and unnecessary.
Dickson insisted he had no reason to reach out to the occupant of the Rivers State Government House while on a visit to his Ijaw brothers.
But Wike who is addressing a press conference in Port Harcourt said Dickson, expected to hand over to his successor after an eight-year reign, has become increasingly frustrated.
Wike apparently in his usual combative mood said Dickson shouldn’t visit the Kalabari nation alone.
Wike encouraged Dickson to visit other Ijaw settlements like Opobo to see what his administration is doing in terms of providing basic infrastructural development.
Our Correspondent is at Government House, venue of the ongoing press conference, would be filing details of the developing story.
