Emeka Ihedioha who purportedly won the Imo State Governorship race on the platform of the PDP has been asked to vacate the Imo State Government House.
In his place, Hope Uzodinma, a former senator who ran as the candidate of the APC is to be recognized as the authentic Governor of the State.
The country’s Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the actual winner of the gubernatorial elections in Imo who was not declared elected was Senator Uzodinma.
The Apex Court directed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to withdraw the Certifcate of Return ealier issued to Hon Ihedioha.
It ordered that a new Certificate of Return should be issued to Senator Uzodinma at once.
The decision of the Apex Court ends the legal tussle which began after INEC erroneously named Ihedioha as the winner of the election.
Recall that Reverend Father Mbaka had predicted victory for Uzodinma, saying there is hope in Imo State.
Lighting a candle during a prayer session, the Catholic priest who is gradually turning into a Seer said nothing would stop Senator Hope Uzodinma from energing governor after the ruling of the Supreme Court.
The same priest had prophesied the defeat of former President Goodluck Jonathan months before the event happened.
On that occasion, a dove released at the Adoration prayer ground in full public glare had failed to fly.
Mbaka said it was proof that Jonathan’s good luck in office had come to an end.
Meanwhile, wild jubilations are taking place in Imo State where APC members are in a happy mood.
PDP members are reportedly in shock.
