Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has suggested that President Muhammadu Buhari ought to have left Dr. Dakuku Peterside as the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA.
Obviously playing the ethnic and religious card, Fani-Kayode took to his twitter handle to take a swipe at Buhari and Southerners who are still working closely with the Nigerian Leader, describing them as “accursed slaves.”
Fani-Kayode who acknowledged shortly after news filtered out that Peterside has been replaced as the Director General of the maritime agency accused the President of catapulting another Northern Muslim into a key office.
The former Aviation Minister noted, “Buhari has kicked out Rotimi Amaechi’s ally and Southern Christian, Dakuku Peterside, and appointed yet another northern Muslim into a key position in his Government. His name is Bashir Jamoh from Kaduna State.”
“Apart from being a northern Muslim, he is also the President’s in-law, Fani-Kayode revealed
“The greatest threat to the unity of the country is not Buhari himself but his army of ignorant and repugnant cheerleaders and accursed slaves”, Fani-Kayode remarked, “I wonder how Buhari’s useful idiots and accursed slaves from the South feel about that?”
Recall that Buhari had on Wednesday reportedly appointed the current Executive Director, Administration and Finance, Bashir Jamoh, as the new Director General of NIMASA.
Under the law, the Director General of NIMASA serves a tenure of four-years, which is however renewable for another four years, depending on the mood of the Presidency.
Taunting southern elements serving in the Buhari administration, the former aviation minister added, “Even the few crumbs that he gave them are now being taken away.”
