Dakuku Adol Peterside, immediate past Director General of NIMASA has urged the Rivers State Government under the watch of Governor Nyesom Wike to review some of its existing strategies.
He said such a move was necessary to match the advance of the Coronavirus.
Dakuku who spoke against the backdrop of the ongoing fight told the Telegraph that the virus has no respect either for the rich or poor.
The former gubernatorial candidate of the APC stressed that the time has come to retool existing guidelines put together by the State Government in order to align them properly for the battle ahead.
But he agreed that the threat posed by the pandemic has exposed certain shortfalls in the State’s healthcare delivery system.
Dakuku condemned the recent statement by the PDP at a time of intense strife, saying the party’s reaction was made in bad faith.
