Four persons believed to have had close contacts with the late Executive Director Finance and Administration of the NDDC may have tested positive to the Coronavirus, according to reports that are emerging from the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.
Our Correspondent, Chimex Ndubuisi reports that whereas four persons whose identities are not known tested positive,  others whose samples were also screened came out negative.
Recall that the NDDC as a precautionary measure ordered its staff to remain self quarantined for 14 days.
The latest revelation suggests that the decision taken by the management of the Commission may have been a step in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Governor Ikpeazu of Abia State is reported to have contacted the Coronavirus.
The Governor would not be the first. Governors of Kaduna and Bauchi states have similarly tested positive to the virus.
But medical experts who are on the frontlines maintain that contacting the Coronavirus is not a death sentence.
Although the number of affected persons have been growing astronomically nationwide, the recovery rates as well as the level of deaths suggest Nigerians would overcome the disease.
