Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who are anxious to participate in the party’s congress across the country now have a new date.

Saturday July 10 was originally set as the date for the commencement of the selection of leaders at the grassroots through voting.

But the idea was jettisoned at the last moment perhaps, as a result of efforts by the National Secretariat of the APC to allow teeming supporters in some states to obtain revalidation slips.

Monday, the APC in a letter dated July 11, 2021 revealed that its party’s congresses would begin across the country from July 31 2021.

The ruling party has turned the table against the PDP since Governor Mai Mala Buni took charge as the National Chairman.

The APC has enjoyed a huge harvest, with the PDP losing several members including State Governors, National and State Assembly members and their supporters.

The letter signed by Mai Buni and John Akpanuedehe and addressed to the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission said the APC would start with the ward congresses on July 31.

Thereafter, congresses at the local government and state levels would follow.
