PHCCIMA’s new management team would today go on board a train which would be headed in the direction of a destination that may change the financial fortunes of the organized private sector and possibly redefine the entire business climate of the Rivers State.
Already, all is set for the journey which is expected to commence with the formal inauguration and investiture of the new leadership of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture.
Organizers say the Aztech Arcum Event Centre along Ken Saro Wiwa Road would be the venue of the ceremony that will bring captains of industry, leaders of government and other interest groups under one roof.

Those to be inaugurated into office later today include the incoming President of the Chamber, Eze Mike Elechi as well as members of his team.
According to information available to the mass media, Governor Nyesom Wike who is busy providing infrastructure that would impact business positively is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour at the inauguration and investiture dinner.

While the Chairman of the Rivers Elders Forum, Chief Ferdinand Alabraba is to chair the occasion, the Eze Apara Rebisi XII, Eze Uche Eliku will be the Royal Father of the day.
Occasions such as this, usually of great interest to industry experts and journalists who cover business, point the direction of investments to come and what the public may expect to see as the contribution of the organized private sector.
The Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) was established in 1957.
It came on board as an interest group with the sole idea of promoting business interests in the Niger Delta region and its environ.
