… Says Bazia, others lack character
John Bazia, a former Commissioner in the Wike administration stripped of his appointment due to alleged acts of gross misconduct while serving the Rivers State has come under the hammer.
He has been told he and his associates in the APC lack the moral carriage to impeach the impeccable character of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Chairman of the House Committee on Host Communities, Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Dekor described Bazia and his co – travellers as expired and aggrieved politicians.
Bazia and a handful of APC members had gathered in Khana Wednesday at the Police Field where they launched verbal attacks on the Rivers Governor.
‘’Their public show of shame on Wednesday in Bori has again shown who they are.
“It is on this note that I condemn their foul languages against Governor Wike”, Rt. Hon. Dekot angrily noted.
“Mr John Bazia and his gang of rabble-rousers should henceforth stop insulting Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike” the Federal lawmaker insisted.

Dekor observed that members of the All Progressives Congress in Ogoni have no electoral value.
The lawmaker recalled that Bazia was dismissed from the cabinet of Governor Wike because of what he referred to as “his dubious character.”
He stressed that Bazia and a handful of those who gathered at the Police field in Bori, Khana Local Government Area to malign Governor Wike were mere ‘paperweight politicians’.
“They are just paperweight politicians the lawmaker said of Bazia and his friends,” They have no influence in their villages and voting units. “
“They lack capacity to win elections in their voting units”, the Federal Lawmaker further declared.
“Mr John Bazia was sacked as a Commissioner because of his dubious character”, Rt. Hon. Dekor said.
Dismissing their threat to unleash a barrage of attacks on Governor Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State in the 2023 general elections, Dekor remarked that the APC in Rivers State under the leadership of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi is a ‘disaster waiting to happen’.
The former Deputy Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly and Commissioner for Works applauded Governor Wike’s achievements in Rivers State as well as his humility, openness, and prudence in the management of human and other resources.
