Security operatives responsible for the spread of black sooth – Bishop
The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Etche, Bishop Okey Nwala says security operatives and their accomplices are responsible for illegal bunkering activities that are endangering the lives of defenseless citizens.
The Bishop said in a sermon at St Mathias Cathedral that anyone who says he does not know where bunkering activities are taking place is lying.
He said security operatives who are expected to save the State from the health hazards that are beginning to afflict the people as a result of the black sooth have become active participants in the illegal trafficking of petroleum products.
Bishop Nwala acknowledged that God has raised Barrister Nyesom Wike as Governor because of years of suffering of the Etche nation.
He lauded the Governor for the good work that he is doing across the State, particularly in Etcheland.
The Bishop predicted that the coming year would be one of great progress for the Etche people and thanked the Ogbakor Etche for holding a Thanksgiving service to thank the Lord for his mercies.
