A new group known as the National Movement comprising nationalists, professionals, politicians and Nigerians both at home and the duaspora has been launched.
The body was launched moments ago in Abuja by its national convener, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Cross section of Nigerians who attended the launch of The National MovementKwankwaso in his speech explained that the desire to rescue Nigeria from the brink of collapse and restore core values that are being degraded as a result of inept leadership led to the decision to set up The National Movement.
Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso launching TNMHe said the TNM has the dream to ensure that Nigeria remains a “Land of justice, freedom and opportunity” for all.
Kwankwaso also revealed that the urge to arrest the drift and stop the “dangerous course that Nigeria is headed” gave birth to the movement.
