The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed says Governor Nyesom Wike would be required at the centre to replicate the good work he is doing in Rivers.
Commissioning the Oruabali Flyover in Port Harcourt, the Governor noted that Wike, as a second tenure governor, has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is focused and determined to affect lives.
According to him, Wike would be required to step up to the national level to contribute meaningfully to the future growth of the country.
“I am not a praise singer”, Governor Mohammed reiterated while speaking at the occasion, stressing that if Wike is not a performing governor, he would not step foot on Rivers soil.
He recalled that in addition to commissioning Oruabali Flyover, he flagged off the construction of the Rumukruoshe – Elimgbu Flyover on Monday.

Governor Nyesom Wike earlier said there were people in Rivers State who initially expressed doubts about the sincerity of purpose of his government.
He said, to the glory of God, his government has delivered on its promise to construct 10 flyovers as part of its urban renewal and development plan.
He announced that additional Flyovers built by his administration would be ready for commissioning in April.
Wike acknowledged that now that his administration has matched words with action in providing quality projects for the benefit of the people, it is now time to “play the politics of ‘stomach infrastructure’.”
He noted that there were people who thought that from day one that he would share money on the streets.
But he said that given the fact that he has kept his promises, it was time to turn attention to the welfare of the masses.
