Chidi Wihioka a.k.a “Okwute” has taken the war of words to members of the Rotimi Amaechi faction, describing them as enemies who do not want to see the progress of the APC.
Wihioka who took the stage moments ago, at a rally that is currently taking place at the Elechi Amadi Polytechnic playground in Port Harcourt, said whatever Amaechi and his followers do, they will never be able to stop Senator Magnus Abe and Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu who are aspiring for the governorship and presidential tickets of the APC.
The former State Electoral Commissioner of INEC and one-time lecturer who was a close associate of the Minister of Transportation for several years said APC members in Rivers State have resolved to follow Abe.
He described Abe as a competent, trusted and qualified son of the soil who can be trusted to deliver on the job if given the mandate.
Earlier, the Port Harcourt Telegraph which is keeping an eye on the developing story had reported that a large crowd of APC supporters from Port Harcourt and Obio Akpor Local Government Areas have converged at the playground of the Elechi Amadi Polytechnic along Rumuola Road
Our Correspondent says that the crowd went into a frenzy as soon as Abe’s convoy arrived at the venue.
Abe is yet to address the surging crowd of party members who want to hear him speak.
