… Thanks Gov Diri, Bayelsa delegates

A Presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will this morning stop over at the State Party Secretariat along Aba Road.

While in the State, the former Vice President would have an interaction with Rivers delegates on his mission.

Atiku has been touring parts of the country of late to canvas support from delegates who are billed to elect the party’s presidential candidate towards the end of the month.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State is also one of the  top frontline aspirants in the presidential race.

Wike has been in the field galvanizing support for his ambition across the country.

Yesterday, Atiku was in Bayelsa State campaigning for the party’s ticket. He urged delegates in that neighboring state to throw their lot behind his effort to emerge as the next president.

Shortly after the encounter with delegates, the aspirant took to Twitter to thank them for what he described as a warm reception.

“Thank you, Bayelsa. The reception you accorded me and my delegation was phenomenal, and I’m most grateful for it. More thanks to H.E Governor Douye Diri for being a wonderful host”, Atiku wrote.

“I assure esteemed delegates of the @OfficialPDPNig in Bayelsa that your confidence in our campaign agenda shall not be betrayed”, he added.
