Governor Nyesom Wike says Rivers votes  will count, stressing that those who hate Rivers State will not benefit from Rivers votes.

Governor Wike who was speaking at the commissioning of the Orochiri Flyover said those who are holding meetings  in Abuja on how to infiltrate the State should come.

Wike said it was strange that some persons are raising  eyebrows ovee the decision by his administration to invite eminent Nigerians to commission projects in Rivers.

The Governor said those ready to suffer from hypertension on account of eminent Nigerians from other political platforms should go ahead to do so.

Wike said there is obviously no doubt that he is incharge, stressing that those who are holding nocturnal meetings in Abuja over Rivers matters should feel free to try.

He disclosed that Rivers is ready to partner with all who respect her and prepared to return the disdain of those who want to undermine her.

Also speaking, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who commissioned the project said Lagos and Rivers State share things in common.

He said both states are involved in the delivery of projects for the benefit of their people which would have impact on commerce, industry and development.

He commended Governor Wike for  the numerous projects that he has put in place, saying his performance has justified the reason why he is described as Mr. Projects.

Orochiri Flyover is the seventh Flyover to be completed by the Wike administration out of a total of 10.

The Telegraph understands that some flyovers with be due for commissioning in September.
