Breaking news: Wike honours eminent Nigerians

Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Saturday, honoured eminent Nigerians in the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt.

Over 160 eminent persons, we have learnt, have been honoured in the Rivers State capital by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Sir Siminalayi Fubara, standard bearer of the PDP in Rivers State honoured by Governor Nyesom Wike.

The awardees include professionals,  technocrats, businessmen, traditional rulers, religious leaders, lawmakers, highly placed political leaders, and academicians from across the country.

They were honoured Saturday at a well attended ceremony which lasted well into the night.

According to information reaching our news desk, recipients from Rivers State honoured at the occasion included the flagbearer of the PDP in Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, gubernatorial candidate of the SDP, Senator Magnus Abe, and candidate of Accord Party, Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs.
