You have blood on your hand, Wike alleges while reacting to Atiku’s supporter
Governor Wike has accused one of Atiku’s supporters in the State of wilfully contributing to the demise of several innocent souls.
The Governor acknowledged that such atrocities, committed years ago by the man whose name he did not mention, have not been forgotten by Rivers people.
Wike recalled how he allegedly used his opportunity in Government to kill, harrass and maim his own people.
God would never allow the same man who has pitched camp with the PDP presidential flagbearer to kill other innocent citizens as Rivers people prepare for the forthcoming election, Wike further alleged.
It was a deft blow, which nonetheless reveals how the past could turn around in the present to hunt someone.
It equally showed history, for whatever it is worth would largely remain a constant reminder as well as a chronicler of events and the deeds of men.
“There are persons” whose names “Rivers people will not like to hear”, Wike remarked while speaking during a dedication service.
Also addressing claims that he had dispatched thugs to the residence of one of his opponents who is backing Atiku, Wike denied nursing such a notion.
He described the Ogoni-born politician as a man of very little weight who usually chose during election time to hang around him instead of going home to test his popularity among his own people.
Wike announced that the recourse to the spread of false claims by agents of Atiku Abubakar was proof of their inability to market their preferred candidate.
He said it was proof that they were incapable of delivering on their assignment, explaining why telling lies to cover up for their inefficient conduct has become necessary.
