EFCC Storms Hideout In Makurdi, Picks Seven Suspected ‘Yahoo Boys’

Seven persons suspected to be part of a gang of internet fraudsters have been picked up by federal anti-graft agents operating in Makurdi.
The suspects who are described in local parlance as “Yahoo Boys” were arrested on Thursday by the zonal command of the EFCC in Makurdi.
According to information released by the anti-graft agency, its operatives stormed the hideout used by the said suspects in Aliade.
Aliade were the suspects were traced and arrested is located in the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.
Some of the items found in the possession of the alleged crooks include an international passport, two internet routers, eight phones and three iPad computers.
The suspects are currently being interrogated and the EFCC has said that they would be charged to court as soon as its investigations are over.
