Fubara Seeks God’s Face, Attends Glory Reign

● As Pastor David Ibiyeomie predicts a new dawn

The annual celebration of the Salvation Ministries usually marked by fasting and prayers has begun in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Thousands of worshippers from far and near, including Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his Deputy,  Prof Ngozi Odu gathered on Monday to offer praises and renew their faith in God.

Preaching during the occasion,  Pastor David Ibiyeomie, host of GloryReign2025 said Nigerians would witness a new year of restoration and progress.

The founder of the Salvation Ministries who quoted Bible passages – precisely Luke 10:19, Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 3:21-23 and Roman 3:23 – spoke about spiritual healing and the restoration of whatever the devil has stolen from the people.

He said that the faithful would have cause to glorify the name of God in 2025, saying a significant turnaround which will shape the lives of so many would take place.

Governor Fubara who had come to seek the face of the Lord was among many who sang, danced and prayed with the congregation.

Fubara who recently urged the body of Christ not to allow people to turn their gatherings into political grounds however did not make any comment.

Fubara will not be the first among Rivers Governors to attend events at the Salvation Ministries.

But he may go into the books as the first to shun the temptation of  turning a gathering of the faithful at a Salvation Ministries event into a rally ground for launching attacks at perceived opponents.
