Is it possible that the current Governor of Akwa Ibom State believed to be a man of God had a hand in the death of his own wife, Mrs Patience Oluwakemi Umo Eno?
A woman who claims on social media to be the daughter of the Governor and the late woman is making serious and damaging allegations.
The lady, Jane Edidiong Ufot who serves as an adviser on health, environmental and safety matters in Eno’s administration thinks her own father may have questions to answer in relation to the demise of her late mother.
The allegation made against the Governor is strange and equally difficult to absorb, but his daughter has in a rather strange manner put her father on the spot by releasing a video.
Mrs Patience Oluwakemi Umo Eno, it will be recalled, passed away in September 2024 due to an undisclosed illness.
“I’m not a sacrifice, mummy was, but I’m not,” Mrs. Ufot reportedly remarked in the said video.
Mrs Ufot disclosed that no matter what happens to her or her daughter, she would reveal more details.
According to her, “If I die today or my daughter dies. If we die because God is exposing the truth, so be it.”
But she warned that her spirit would know no peace should her blood be spilled as a result of the fight against her father.
As she put it, “my blood will not go scot-free.”
On social media, the video is generating sharp reactions, with netizens calling for a full blown investigation to unravel the veracity of Jane’s accusation.
