Vigilante Rescue Female POS Operator

A randy young man who stalked a female POS operator Friday morning at Igwuruta in the Ikwerre Local Government Area and stole her trading capital has been caught.

He is being held by a local vigilante group which mobilised early this morning to the residence where the the lady was assaulted to rescue her.

The identity of the woman is not yet known, but the Port Harcourt Telegraph reports that the young man whose name was given as Temple Uma Esowe forcefully snatched the  POS machine and proceeded to withdraw her money.

Thereafter, Esowe  who hails from Ohafia in Abia State allegedly attempted to rape his victim before luck ran out on him.

As at the time of filing this report, Esowe had not been handed over to the police. He was being held at a point close to the Igwuruta Roundabout.
