BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF RIVERS STATE, LADY FUBARA TELLS CHILDREN

• Treats Rivers kids to a Christmas Party

Rivers kids have been urged to be good ambassadors of the State in everything they do.

They have also been advised to be obedient and respectful.

Wife of Rivers State Governor, Lady Valerie Fubara  on Friday at Government House, Port Harcourt, gave the charge to children who gathered for a Christmas party.

Lady Fubara who told the children to be diligent and focused in their endeavors and explained that her gesture was  to show love and give the children a sense of belonging.

“I pray that as you come to celebrate this 2025 children’s party God will keep us in good health and usher us into 2026 and we will gather in love and unity to celebrate again another Christmas party”, the Governor’s wife remarked.

Describing the kids as “the beautiful children of Rivers State”, Lady Valerie advised them, saying “continue to pray for your State, Rivers State. I want you children to be good children, be respectful, obedient to your parents, assist your parents and play with your gadgets with caution. I pray we shall gather again and celebrate more parties.”

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of Rivers State Prof Mrs Ngozi Nma Odu, Head of Rivers State Civil Service, Dr Mrs Inyingi Brown, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, Permanent Secretaries and other distinguished guests.

Highlight of the event was the cutting of the Special Birthday cake by the wife of the Rivers State Governor.
