FUBARA: WE CAN ACHIEVE OUR GOAL IF….

“We can only achieve our goal when we are united and we work together”, the Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara said in Asaba, Delta State.
Fubara was addressing South South leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who had gathered in the Delta State capital to elect zonal officials of the party.
The Rivers governor who expressed optimism that the South South has the capability to produce the best remarked, “I surely believe that this is the right time, the right people and the right place.”
According to him, “My charge to those of you elected is that the responsibility is going to be very tasking but I believe strongly that they will deliver for our party,”
Fubara said it was up to the elected zonal officials of the ruling party to achieve the ultimate goal of the APC in the region, urging them to work together..
The governor who spoke at the South – South Zonal  Congress, said working in unity and with a common purpose would enable the zonal leadership to deliver optimally to the electoral fortunes of the party in 2027
Fubara said he was confident   that  the newly elected leadership of the party  would prove  equal to the task. And expressed profound gratitude to the Delta State Government for hosting the Zonal Delegates Congress.
The Congress which attracted top leaders of the APC in the  zone, saw the re-election of the zonal leadership through consensus.
Some of the dignitaries in attendance included the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, Governor Duoye Doris  of Bayelsa State, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State and  Governor Sheriff Oboroevwori of Delta State.
Also in attendance were members of the National Assembly  as well as members of State Houses of Assembly from the South -South Zone.
