● Police saves the day, arrest the man and take him away for questioning

Buyers and sellers at the Abuloma Market in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, ran for their lives when an Hausa man went berserk and started stabbing people with a knife
It is not clear what led him to behave violently but eyewitnesses said the man attacked people who were buying and selling.
An eyewitness told this publication, “I ran to save myself. The man stabbed a fellow Hausa man on the head and drew blood and flesh.”
She said she could not say how many were attacked by the man. She told us, ‘The Police took him away after theywere informed of the commotion in the marketplace place”
Sources reported that many in the market feared for their lives as the man became uncontrollable. They said the incident occurred Monday during the rush hour period when those in the neighbourhood tried to replenish their supplies.
