Two more top notch officers have joined the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
They are the former Secretary to Goverment under ex-governor Nyesom Wike, Tammy Wenike Danagogo and Chidi Amadi who has been named Chief of Staff.
Their appointments take immediate effect.
While the Secretary to Goverment will man the arm of the executive that is known as the Governor’s Office, the Chief of Staff will oversee the internal administration of Goverment House, Port Harcourt.
Governor Fubara who announced their appointments Thursday through Bon Onyedi, SSA Media has appointed a number of civil commissioners.
So far, 14 commissioners are on board the ship and a few more are to be anointed by the governor in the days to come, according to what we have pieced together.
Observers say his administration which is based on the consolidation of the New Rivers Vision began by ex-governor Nyesom Wike is steadily taking shape.
It’s not clear how many commissioners would serve in the Fubara administration, but there are expectations in some quarters that each local government area is most likely to produce a member of the State Executive Council.
Already, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area has two commissioners in the cabinet of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Across the State, friends and relatives of the latest appointees are reportedly celebrating.
