TINUBU FOR RIVERS SATURDAY
● Rainbow Coalition announces presidential campaign rally

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected in Rivers State on Saturday, November 7, for a presidential campaign rally organised under the auspices of the Rainbow Coalition.
The coalition announced that the rally would take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Airport Road, Port Harcourt, beginning at 10am.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, November 3, the Chairman of the coalition’s Publicity Sub-committee, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, said Tinubu would lead the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council to the event.
The announcement provides a venue and scheduled starting time for the rally as the coalition prepares to receive the President and his campaign entourage.
According to the statement, the coalition’s leader and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, welcomed Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima on behalf of the political parties participating in the alliance.
The welcome was also extended to the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, party officials and other members of the visiting delegation.
Abe called on members of the Rainbow Coalition and the public to attend in large numbers and give the President and his entourage a rousing reception.
The statement identifies the Rainbow Coalition as the local organiser of the presidential campaign event, bringing its participating political parties together for the rally.
Saturday’s gathering will provide an opportunity for the coalition to demonstrate its mobilisation strength in Rivers State and for the visiting campaign team to address supporters.
The announcement did not provide details of traffic arrangements, accreditation requirements or access to the stadium.
