ABEC has zero tolerance for malpractices – Toby

Following examination malpractices in most schools in the country, the Chairman of Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC, Sir Gabriel Toby said the school has zero tolerance for examination malpractices as the students of the school were taught of the dangers and the implications of doing so.
Speaking to newsmen at the Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC located in Woji, Rivers State, during unveiling of the 20th anniversary logo, Sir Toby hinted that were made to study very hard, face their studies as they are being disciplined, dedicated and also have self-confidence.
He said over the 20 years of its inception, the school has maintained and will still maintain dedicated teachers who have excel in ramifications and opined that the school is getting stronger and commended the teachers for impacting knowledge in the children.
“The teachers in Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC, take each child as his/her own child in terms of their welfare and their health and the students can equally attest to that and I am very happy that the school has so far brought out children who have become an adult. It is also on record that no child passes out from this school without being a computer literate and we will continue to give our best”, Sir Toby disclosed.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC, Dame Christie Toby hinted that, there is much to be done in the school as the teachers in the school will continue to render quality education to the students which is the only way to eradicate poverty in the society.
Dame Toby maintained that, the school has been able to raise quality leaders in the nation, urging the governments at all level to team up with the private sectors so that the society will be a better place where there will be cordial relationships.
On the issue of cultism in the school, the Managing Director also said such does not occur in the school as anyone caught in cultism will be suspended or expel from the school, saying that, the school was built on the solid rock.
According to her, “such thing has not and will never occur in Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC, because we screen every child before he/she is being register in the school and if we find out after you have been register in the school, we have no choice than to suspend or expel you from the school and there is no sentiment in it and we cannot condone that in the school”, she said.
Dame Toby described the students of Archdeacon Brown Education Centre as educated, humble, respected, cultural and above all, as people that have the fear of God in them.
On the story so far about Archdeacon Brown Education Centre, ABEC, the Executive Director, Mrs. Ibim Semeritari said explained that in the last 20 years, ABEC nursery and primary school has continued to evolve leaps and bounds, maintaining that a great learning environment birthed out the passion to raise generation that is rich in both knowledge and sound Christian principles.
Mrs. Ibim Semeritari posited that the success story of the school is a perpetual paradise of God’s grace as it has been a story of astonishing success in every field of their endeavours. The Head Mistress explained that the school has also given both to ABEC secondary school, Mary Virginia Nursery and Primary school, Christie Toby Inclusive Education nursery, primary and secondary school, Advanced Level Centre, ABEC day secondary school.
The Executive Director disclosed that, the school is committed to ensuring that the children under their care have the best learning experience.
