Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Atiku snatched a majority of the votes cast by delegates to win the primaries with 371 votes while Governor Nyesom Wike placed second with 237 votes .
Bukola Saraki finished in third place with 70 Votes while Governor Udom Emmanuel ended in fourth place with 31 votes
Bala who emerged as one of the consensus aspirants of a section of northern leaders could only secure 14 votes to place fifth.
A total of 12 votes were voided.
