Christian evangelism receives N50m donation

Governor Wike who was in church Sunday morning to join in activities marking the Armed Forces Remembrance Day said the money was in support of the leading role that the church is playing.
“I cannot leave here”, Wike who was impressed with what he saw remarked, “without supporting you.”
He accordingly donated N50 million, saying he was deeply impressed with what the church has achieved.
Wike urged Nigerians to show kindness and respect to families of fallen heroes who have made the supreme price in order to secure the unity, peace and sovereignty of the nation.
Governor Wike noted that the Rivers people will neve4 forget the contributions made by men in uniform towards the growth and emancipation of the State.
