Release Nnamdi Kanu to me – Soludo
The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has asked the Federal Government to release the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Soludo who spoke at an APGA rally held at Awka Saturday aftetnoon urged the Buhari administration to release the freedom fighter unconditionally.
The Governor remarked that Kanu would be expected to be part of the conversation, saying the people of the South East were actually prepared to have an all embracing meeting pertaining to the future of the region.
He however offered to be Kanu’s guarantor or surety if the Federal Government does not consider it feat to adhere to calls for his unconditional release.
“I am calling on the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu’ Soludo remarked, “we need him around the table because we believe we now want to have a comprehensive heart to heart discussion about the future and economic prosperity of the South East.”
“No one should be left behind”, Soludo noted while talking about the proposed roundtable conference, “everybody should be there.”
“I now offer to be the surety, release him to me; release him to me; release Nnamdi Kanu to me”, Soludo begged.
“I will keep him, I will provide him shelter and any time that you need him, we will bring him to you.
“Let us bring this insecurity thing in the South East to an end. That is why APGA believes in one Nigeria. APGA believes in the security and prosperity of Nigeria.”
