Presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who appears confident that he will emerge victorious in the forthcoming poll has expressed optimism that there will be wifespread celebrations across Nigeria.
The presidential election is billed to take place on the 25th of this month.
Tinubu who has just returned from Kogi and Sokoto states took to Twitter to appreciate the people for their support and commitment.
Referring to the warm reception enjoyed by the Campaign Council in Kogi, the APC candidate said the people have demonstrated by their massive turn out that the State is “fully APC”.

Tinubu noted, “Kogi’s status as a fully APC state is reaffirmed”, saying, “Together we will ensure a #RenewedHope in our country.”
Reflecting over the presidential campaign in Sokoto, a state where the APC held what is being described as the mother of all rallies in some circles, Tinubu said on Twitter that there will be celebrations of victory in Nigeria.
“Thank you Sokoto!”, the Lagos strongman stated in reaction, “I am overwhelmed by the love you displayed. We will all celebrate our resounding victory come February 25th.”
The candidate paid tribute to President Muhammadu Buhari who was part of the campaign for his support.

“Special appreciation to His Excellency President @MBuhari for joining us once again”, he remarked.
Recall the President had said of Tinubu’s quest, “I’ll continue to campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He’s a committed Nigerian and I believe he’ll give all he has to this country and to you Nigerians.”
Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has cried out, saying those who acted against popular democracy in 1993 were regrouping to wreck havoc on Nigeria.
He said there were moves to betray the aspirations of the Nigerian and destroy the common unity that they share.
The Governor decried the rigid insistence on the implementation of ‘these harsh, inhuman and insensitive cash policies’ to a point of neglecting their widespread rejection by the vast majority of Nigerians including the National Assembly and all governors.
He said: “It is an agenda to undermine the nation and scuttle a smooth transition to a freely and fairly elected successive administration”.
Festus Keyamo, a lawyer and a major driver of the APC campaign nationwide added, “The signs are all there for all to see! But they are playing! Make dem dey play!!
