Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who has become less visible in public, says he is no longer involved in partisan politics.

Obasanjo who addressed the press when PDP chieftains led by Professor Iyorchia
Ayu visited him said he has resolved to keep a safe distance from the game that made him president.

But he told his guests he would however remain interested in matters of great national interest.

The National Chairman of the PDP in his remark lauded the accomplishments of the former president while in office, saying he succeeded in taking the nation to dizzying heights.

Apparently, the PDP is gradually on the march again as Nigerians across the country prepare for 2023.

Its leaders were in Lagos Friday where they held the Lagos for Lagos rally which drew large crowds.
