… Rescue workers battle to save more lives

At least nine persons have been rescued from a building on Ibadan Street in the Ebutte Meta area which collapsed Sunday night in Lagos, capital of Lagos State .

The 3-storey building collapsed in the Mainland Local Government Area at about 9.30pm.

Rescue workers are still battling to save more lives according to what we have learnt.

Information on what actually happened to the building is still very hazy

The ill-fated building built along Ibadan Street caved in Sunday night, trapping many of
its occupants in the rubble.

As at the time of this report, officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service were fighting to rescue more souls.

Crowds reportedly converged in front of the building as rescuers went to work.
