A header perfectly delivered by Ajibade has put Nigeria through to the semi final stage of the ongoing Women’s tournament in Morocco.
Scores at half time was zero-zero with the African champions pushing cautiously forward.
It was a match that saw Nigeria play a compact game, attacking through the centre and the wings and matching the Cameroonians, grit for grit, brawl for brawl.

In the second half, Nigeria continued piling and knocking on door until Ajibade, wonderful strike, got the goal off a cross from the right.

Thereafter, Cameroon came more forcefully into the game, probing for an equalizer as the Nigerians choked the defence, sending too many balls out of the pitch in a game they proved to be tactically.
Ajibade who has at least four goals in the kitty was named woman of the match.

Speaking, she thanks to God for ensuring Nigeria’s qualification for the world cup and said the team was looking forward to their next opponents in the competition.
