Wike predicts PDP win
Governor Nyesom Wike arrives Isaac Boro Park, the venue of the 11th hour declaration.
Governor Nyesom Wike, defender of the rights of the people of the South has vowed that the PDP will sweep the 2023 poll.
Addressing the rally dubbed 11th Hour Homecoming, Wike said the PDP would win the governorship and go on to sweep the National ans State Assembly elections.

He said that in terms of strategy, emphasis has shifted from those he described as”bigmen” to those who deliver results in their wards and units.
He assured the decampees that they will have no reason to regret their resolve to pitch tent with the PDP.
Wike assured Prince Uche Secondus that his jubilation as a result of the vote of confidence passed on Iyorchia Ayu would be shortlived.

He reminded Secondus that he similarly secured a vote of confidence, as National Chairman, but said that the confidence vote passed on him at the time was not sufficient to sustain his stay in office.
Also speaking, the State Chaiman of the party, Ambassador Desmond Akawor said the mind-blowing performance of the Wike administration has motivated former members of the opposition to team up with the PDP

He said the State Working Committee of the party in appreciation of the State government’s contribution to development decided to present the Governor with a proficiency certificate.
In his speech, Dr Sam Sam Jaja, a former BoT member of the APC thanked the State Governor for receiving them into the fold.
He apologised for the things that they did against the governor as members of the APC, and assured that he and other decampees would work with him to enhance the victory of the PDP.
Governor Wike was received on arrival at the venue by his Deputy, Dr Ipalibo Banigo, the State Party Chairman, Ambassador Desmond Akawor and other high placed officials,

The Port Harcourt Telegraph reports that the venue of the event at the Isaac Boro Park was jam-packed.
Present at the event were Federal and state lawmakers, chairmen of local government councils and grassroots leaders of the party from the various local government areas in the State.
