Obuah: PDP sure bet in 2023 

Governor Nyesom Wike working without stopping in order to transform Rivers State and reposition it for higher growth

 

Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Felix Obuah has reiterated that the Rivers PDP will convincingly win the 2023 general elections.

Obuah who is the Director General of the Consolidation of the New Rivers Vision Campaign Council, gave the assurance in a statement in Port Harcourt.

The Director General of the Rivers PDP Campaign Council remarked that the party would commence its statewide campaigns on Monday.

Bro Felix Obuah emphasized that every machinery needed to guarantee the PDP’s winning streak has been put in place.

He expressed confidence that the ruling party which would campaign successfully across the 23 council areas of the State will retain power through the ballot box.

According to him, the campaign tour is expected to afford the PDP the opportunity to spread the goodwill message of Governor Nyesom Wike “to Rivers people ahead of the crucial 2023 general elections.”

Obuah also stated that the intention  is “to showcase those lined up by the party for the respective elections with a view to consolidating the gains of His Excellency’s quality leadership.”

Bro Obuah who won the governorship and other elections for the PDP in 2015 and 2019 respectively as the State Chairman said the party would win the elections on the basis of the massive infrastructural revolution spearheaded by the administration of Governor Wike.

While calling for the same degree of support and solidarity that propelled the extraordinary performance of the party, Bro Obuah enjoined all party supporters and lovers of democracy to come out en masse to receive the PDP campaign team in their respective council areas.

The campaign train, he noted, will start its journey across the State from Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA on Monday, January 16.

Thereafter, the train will proceed to  Ikwerre LGA, on Tuesday, January 17; Emuoha LGA on Wednesday, January 18; Andoni  LGA, on January 20 and Khana LGA, on January 21.

On January 23, the PDP Campaign train led by Governor Wike would make a stop at Oyigbo LGA, proceed to Bonny on January 24, Gokana on, January 25, Etche LGA, January 30; Ahoada West LGA, January 31 and Opobo/Nkoro on February 4.

Asari – Toru would be next on February 6; Ogu/Bolo, February 7; Abua/Odual, February 8; Okrika on February 9; Eleme, February 10; Port Harcourt, February 11; Akuku-Toru February 13; Ahoada East on February 14; Omuma, February 15; Tai, February 16; Degema February 17 and Obio/Akpor, February 18.
