Dike: Amaechi, Omehia, dumped Ubima
A former supporter of the ex-Minister of Transportation, Barrister Princewill Dike has lampooned his former boss, Rotimi Amaechi for toying with the welfare of the Ubima community and the wellbeing of the Rivers people.
Dike who drew cheers from the crowd at the PDP rally held in the Ikwerre Local Government Area said that Amaechi who did not attract any project to the State as Minister also failed as governor to do anything for the Ubima people.
He noted that while serving under the Minister, he repeatedly reminded him of the need to renovate the community school.
But he said that each time he brought the request of Ubima people before Amaechi, he blatantly refused and simply swept such matters under the carpet.
He revealed that the only achievement that Barrister Celestine Omehia recorded in Ubima during his six-month tenure as Governor was the construction of his personal living house.
Dike said that both men had irreparably disappointed the Ubima people, stressing that they have lost the right to be seen as brothers by their kith and kin.
He said that the only brother he knows is that person who understands the needs of his people and addresses them.
Dike emphasized that Governor Wike who is busy providing facilities to the Ubima people as well as the people of the State was more a brother than Omehia and Amaechi.
Challenging the two men to come home and face the people of Ubima, Dike said the Wike administration has completely
refurbished the community school and put smiles on their faces.
Presenting Amaechi and Omehia as ingrates, the Barrister who said he was speaking with facts declared that the Ubima people would never forgive them for the way they treated and abandoned them at their time of need.
Dike commended Governor Wike for delivering projects across Rivers State and thanked him for coming to the rescue of the Ubima people.
