Fubara Promises To Work For Peace

Sir Siminialayi Fubara, candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections says his administration, will work to promote peace and public safety if he is elected.
Addressing the PDP rally which held in Okrika Friday , Fubara promised to sustain the existing peace in Okrika and ensure the completion of any ongoing project that he may inherit.
He also pledged on his honour to conceive and provide more developmental projects in the area.
Also speaking during the rally Governor Nyesom Wike s<span;>olicited votes for Sir Siminialayi Fubara, his running mate, Prof Ngozi Odu and other PDP candidates.
Urging the people of Okrika to vote overwhelmingly for the PDP, Wike lamented that one of their sons named as the contractor in charge of the sandfilling project failed to complete the project
He disclosed that his administration has re-awarded the project to another contractor who would do everything to complete it because of the benefit of the sandfilling project.
Rivers State Chairman of the PDP, Ambassador Desmond Akawor, who presented party’s flags to the various candidates in the area contesting the forthcoming election, urged Okrika people to vote massively for the party’s candidates.
Speaking on behalf of other candidates, Chief Allwell Onyesoh, the Rivers East Senatorial candidate, thanked the leadership and members of the party for the privilege given to them to fly the party flag. He pledged that they will provide quality representation when elected.
