News Break: Tinubu Raises Minimum Wage Ny NGN25,000

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressing Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s independence day anniversary celebrations. 

 

Workers in the Federal Civil Service are henceforth to enjoy a N25000 pay raise as the Tinubu administration gradually unfolds its post subsidy removal palliative package.

The Federal Government which issued the approval on Sunday, said the policy has been carefully planned to minimise inflation.

Addressing Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s annual Independence Anniversary, President Bola Tinubu said SNG buses which are to be introduced in to transport sector would significantly result in lower fares paid by commuters.

Tinubu said Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians and urged the people to join hands with his administration to transform the nation

“Love and Cherish it; Nigeria is yours” Tinubu said, saying those who continue to think that Nigeria will disintegrate should discard such thoughts.

Stressing Nigeria is going nowhere, the President declared, “Here our nation stands; here we will remain”,

Turning attention on nation building, Tinubu declared, “We can do it, we must do!”
