The body of the Managing Director of Fourscore Homes, Femi Osibona, has been discovered in the rubble of the 21- storey building along Gerard Road, which came tumbling down early in the week at Ikoyi, a high brow area in Lagos.

His remains was found Thursday by a team of responders who have been searching for survivors as well as the bodies of the dead.

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Thursday evening confirmed the discovery of the body.

TheCable was among the first to break the story of the Osibona body find.

It reported NEMA had affirmed that the remains of the late business mogul has been found.

Fourscore Homes owned by Osibona was behind the ongoing construction of the 21-storey edifice on Gerrard Road that gave way.

The authorities are saying that at least 39 bodies have been pulled out of the rubble. Only a handful of survivors have been saved since rescue work began.

In the meantime, the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo – Olu, has set up a panel charged with the responsibility of unraveling the root cause of the crash.

The Governor who announced the decision said findings by the panel would act as a guide for policy makers as well as property developers in the future.
