Reverend John Joseph Hayab gives kudos to Governor Uba Sani.

A reverend gentleman and critic of Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, Reverend John Joseph Hayab says that the people of Southern Kaduna are happy with the administration of Governor Uba Sani.

Hayab who appeared on the Morning Show broadcast on Arise News said Wednesday that most Southern Kaduna people were comfortable with the administrative style and policy thrust of the administration of the incumbent governor.

He said that unlike El-Rufai who all through his tenure was antagonistic, abusive and temparamental, arrogant and disrespectful, Governor Sani has shown that he is friendly, accessible and focused.

Reverend Hayab agreed that peace is returning to Southern Kaduna after the gory days of the El-Rufai administration.

The priest who also commended ongoing security efforts which are helping to create a peaceful environment in Kaduna State revealed that Governor Sani has visited the area severally and equally commissioned people – oriented projects.

He said a great majority of Kaduna state indigenes, Muslims and Christians alike, are applauding the resolve of the Governor to probe alleged acts of financial misdeeds of the outgone administration which has left a huge debt burden.

The priest further added that people were beginning to find their voice under the Sani administration, saying this was never the case under El-Rufai who was dreaded by his subjects.

Responding to a question relating to threats by the El-Rufai clan to use the Assembly as a platform to fight Sani, Hayab blamed the uncultured manner of the children of the former governor on their upbringing, saying they ought to learn how to separate family or personal interests from matters of public interest.
