Wike opens the gate for Atiku
… Allows him use of Adokiye Amiesimaka

Governor Nyesom Wike has allowed the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar the use of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium to host his campaign rally in Rivers State.
The decision to re-approve the use of the stadium by the Rivers Government puts to an end, claims and counter claims that have arisen over the use of the facility.
The Rivers State Government had on January 31 withdrawn the initial approval of January 11.
The withdrawal was based on what the Wike administration said was credible intelligence suggesting that the PDP Presidential Campaign Council was closely collaborating with a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, which has seemingly become notorious for spreading violence.

Address-ing the Rivers PDP campaign rally Tuesday, in the Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Wike revealed that government has reapproved the use of the venue because of pleas received from many quarters.
Commenting on the crisis inside the PDP, Wike faulted the assertion by the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu that a member of the G5 visited him .
Wike said the claim by Ayu was completely false.
He swore no member of the group of five PDP governors advocating for the Southern Chairmanship of the party would ever visit Ayu.
According to the Rivers Governor, nobody can blackmail the G5 governors and force them to drop their political advocacy because it is a fight they must surely win.
Wike also declared that no man can chase them away from the party they built.
The Rivers governor and four others have consistently demanded the resignation of Ayu as a pre-condition for their support for the PDP flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.
